Acrylic  acid, organic compound, chemical formula C3H4O2, colorless liquid, pungent odor, is an important organic synthesis raw material and synthetic resin monomer, is a very fast polymerization rate of ethylene monomer.
Acrylic  acid is miscible with water, alcohol, ether and chlorofor m and is prepared from propylen e obtained from oil refineries. Chemically active, easy polymerization in the air, hydrogenation can be reduced to propionic  acid, and hydrogen chloride addition to produce 2-chloropropionic  acid, mainly used for the preparation of acrylic resin.
