Acrylic  acid , organic compounds, chemical formula C3H4O2, colorless liquid, pungent smell, is an important organic synthesis raw materials and synthetic resin monomer, polymerization speed is very fast ethylene monomer.

Acrylic   acid is miscible with water, alcohol, ether and chlorofor m and is prepared from propylen e obtained from oil refineries. Chemically active, easy polymerization in the air, hydrogenation can be reduced to propionic  acid, and hydrogen chloride addition to produce 2-chloropropionic  acid, mainly used for the preparation of acrylic resin.
