Aminocaproic acid is an antifibrinolytic agent. Fibrinogen binds specifically to fibrin through the lysine binding site in its molecular structure, and then becomes fibrinolytic enzyme under the action of the activator, which can split the arginine and lysine peptide chains in fibrin to form fibrin degradation products, which can dissolve blood clots. This product can inhibit the binding of plasminogen and fibrin, prevent its activation, thus inhibiting fibrinolysis, high concentration can directly inhibit the activity of plasminogen, to achieve hemostatic effect.
