Cyclohexanon e, an organic compound, is a carbonyl carbon atom consisting of a saturated cycloketone within a six-membered ring. Colorless transparent liquid with an earthy smell and a minty taste when containing traces of pheno l. Impurity is light yellow, with the storage time to generate impurities and color, water white to grayish yellow, with a strong pungent odor. Mixed with air the explosive electrode is the same as the open chain saturated ketone. The carcinogenic evidence of cyclohexanon e is insufficient, and it is mainly used as organic synthesis raw materials and solvents in industry, such as it can dissolve cellulose nitrate, coatings, paints and so on. Application
Cyclohexanon e is an important chemical raw material and the main intermediate of nylon, caprolactam and adipic acid. It is also an important industrial solvent, such as for paint, especially for those containing nitrocellulos e, vinyl chloride polymer and its copolymer or methacrylate polymer paint. An excellent solvent for organophosphorus pesticides and many analogues, as a solvent for dyes, as a viscous solvent for piston aviation lubricants, as a solvent for fats, waxes and rubbers. It is also used as a homogenizing agent for dyeing and fading silk, a degreasing agent for polishing metals, and a wood coloring paint. Used as a high boiling point solvent in cosmetics such as nail polish. It is usually mixed with low boiling point solvent and medium boiling point solvent to obtain suitable volatilization rate and viscosity.
