Copper Sulphate Cu35.5% for Feed Additives CAS 10257-54-2
Copper sulfate is an inorganic compound with the formula CuSO4. It is white or off-white powder, and the aqueous solution is weakly acidic and bluish.

When crystallized from an aqueous solution, blue copper sulfate pentahydrate (CuSO4·5H2O, also known as cholerite) is formed, and this principle can be used to test the presence of water. It decomposes after heat loss of crystal water, is stable at room temperature and pressure, does not delix, and will gradually weather in dry air.

Copper sulfate is an important raw material for the preparation of other copper-containing compounds, which is not only a fertilizer, but also a widely used fungicide. Bordeaux liquid, copper soap liquid and copper ammonium preparation are prepared with copper sulfate and lime milk, soap and ammonium bicarbonate.
