Plasticizer: Trioctyl trimellitate is mainly used in PVC (polyvinyl chloride) products, especially where high heat resistance, low migration, low volatility and good electrical insulation are needed, such as wires and cables, automobile interiors, PVC membrane materials for construction, etc.
Used as plasticizer for PVC products and heat-resistant cables.
Application examples: refrigerator, disinfection cabinet sealing strip, etc.
Appearance: colorless or yellowish transparent liquid.
Density: about 0.97 g/cm³
Melting point: about-40 C.
Boiling point: higher than 300 C.
Solubility: insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, ketone and aromatic hydrocarbon.
