Vinyl  acetate, also known as vinyl  acetate, vinyl  acetate, etc., is an organic compound, the molecular formula is C4H6O2, the relative density is 0.9334, the boiling point is 71.8-73 degrees Celsius, the refractive index is 1.3941, colorless unstable liquid, insoluble in water.
Vinyl  acetate has a sweet ether taste, soluble in alcohol, benzene, chlorofor m, flammable, its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture, in the case of open fire, high heat energy caused combustion explosion, and oxidizer can react strongly, easy to heat, light or trace peroxide action and polymerization, the vapor is heavier than air, can spread to a considerable distance at the lower place, in the case of open fire will lead back to ignition. Vinyl  acetate is a widely used and important chemical product, mainly used in the production of polyvinyl  acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, copolymer emulsion and copolymer resin, and further production of vinylon, adhesive, film, coating and emulsifier products, widely used in paper, packaging, textile, printing and dyeing, furniture, construction and automobile and other fields.

Application

1.Vinyl  acetate is the main raw material to produce Synthetic vinyl.Vinyl  acetate through itself aggregate, or copolymer with monomer to get polyvinyl alcohol, and acetic acid vinyl-vinyl total polymer (EVA), and acetic acid vinyl-chlorine vinyl copolymer real (EVC), and acetic acid vinyl-propylene nitrile class fiber, and acetic acid vinyl-acrylic ester class copolymer real, they all have important industrial usage,can be widely used as bond agent,and building paint,and textiles sizing agent and finishing agent,and paper enhanced agent,and to produce security glass.Vinyl  acetate andethanol, bromin e reaction of aceta ldehyde diethyl aceta l bromides. This is the intermediate methyl imidazole drugs.
2.The commonly used intermediates used in the production of polyvinyl alcohol, paint and adhesives.
3.Used for organic synthesis.
4.Used for resin synthesis,also used as intermediates for oil pour thickener and Binder.
